Dresden: J.J. #Heart-To-Heart 2015 Remix Feat. Nomei

Nomei arrived at Juliet's home, taking a moment to observe the building.

The house is well kept, almost painfully normal. the yard is trimmed as if recently, although there is a dead dryness to the place. only one car is in the driveway and it looks like the kind of car you feel everyone in the world has. the front door has a worn out mat saying welcome on it.

Nomei approached the house, feeling a bit uneasy for a moment before shaking her head and letting her normal confident energy take over. She stepped up to door and rang the doorbell.

A moment passes as Nomei hears footsteps coming to the door. It opens up and reveals Juliet's "ADOPTED" dad Perry Cox. he's a 40 year old bald man with a lanky frame.

"Oh Hello Nomei... haven't seen you for a while. is there something I can-" he cut's himself off, "well, I guess you're here for J.J."

Nomei grabbed at her arm, briefly uneasy. She hadn't had much interaction with Mr. Cox and was still uncertain how he "reacted" to her abilities. However, she quickly regained her composure, "Yes. Is she here? She had a... rough day and I wanted to check in on her."

Perry give Nomei a look of confusion, "well, seems almost everyday she's having a 'rough' day. "that girl can be a handful." he snorts to himself before continuing.

"Afraid to say, she ain't here right now, got a text last night from her sayin," he trails off on a note as he pulls out his cell phone to remind himself, "At Keen's house for the night. don't bother with dinner. will be be home tomorrow evening."

Nomei blinked, "Uhm... who?"

He waves his hand up, touching his head, "Her... uh... English tutor, dash boyfriend, or something, i think. she hangs out with him a lot." he pauses a moment, clearly this is something he decided not to put to much attention to, "he's a bit of an older fella, but I ain't one to judge, he's harmless."

"I... Oh," Nomei was a bit taken aback, she would have thought that J.J. would have mentioned having a boyfriend. "Do you know where he lives?"

"well, if it's urgent, Which what you've been on about, I guess i could tell ya. Although she's going be kinda pissed if she finds out I told you so- uh... see about not mentionin it, will ya," he goes through his phone quickly before jutting an address down on a piece of paper. He tells her it's about a 15 minute drive from here.

Nomei nodded, "Uhm... yeah, drive... Well, thanks for the address, Perry."

Nomei waved goodbye to the man, turned and left the house. Taking a quick scan around her to check if anyone was watching her, she took off at a running pace to the address that she'd been given.

It didn't take her long to get to the place (being a vampire definitely had it's perks). When she arrived she walked to the door, she hesitated as she was about to knock, unsure if she would be welcome. She knocked on the door and called out, "Uhm, hello?"

At this rundown excuse for a house. a woman that looks like she just finished off a quarter bottle of whiskey and wearing clothes with enough holes to be mistaken for Swiss-Cheese answers the door.
"Huh?" she's says, her breath waft with alcohol.

"Uhm... hello?"

"whatchu want?"

"Uhm, is Juliet here?" Nomei said, wondering if she had been given the right address.

"Juliet? oh- Keen's Fuck-buddy. Basement Suite." she breaths out as she points around the house. quick as she pointed, she slams her door and leaves, probably to go empty some beer cans and watch whatever melodramatic drivel is playing on tv.

Nomei simply stood there for a moment, looking at where the woman had disappeared to, processing. She sighed and headed down to the basement suite, looking for a door she could knock on.

There is a door.

Nomei knocked on the door.

on the other side of the door, Nomei hears the sound of quick scrambling as it seems someone is trying to put away a bunch of stuff. a quick dash for the door later it opens up to whom Nomei assumes is Keen, a seemingly 20 year guy darker skinned fellow with nicely trimmed hair and a five o-clock shadow, he's a well toned man with muscular arms and a sexy six pack... this is noticeable, since through all the scrambling, he has forgotten to put on a shirt.

Nomei crossed her arms, looking at him with practiced disinterest. She spoke, allowing the tiniest bit of Fear radiate through the air towards him, "I take it you're Keen?"

Keen Raises an eyebrow, clearly a bit infatuated by the 'beautiful creature' that has just shown up to his door, "Aye, is there something I can help with, miss?"

She amped up the Fear a bit, "What did you call me?"

"uh- miss... I said miss. do you prefer else?" his face switching between worry and confusion, "wait what am I on about- okay, is there something you want?"
