| A few things to keep in mind when using or creating NPCs: NPC Creation:
- An NPC ought to be fairly well-rounded, and ought to have something to offer that makes them a character worth using in a variety of situations.
- Once an NPC is created, it no longer belongs to you, and may be used by anyone that wants to. By posting an NPC's information here, you are giving your implicit permission for other people to alter and develop the character how they want to, provided it does not contradict what has already been laid out.
- Should you choose to leave out important information about an NPC for one reason or another, please note that not everything relevant has been revealed in the information about the NPC so anyone using them in their roleplay will know to check with you to see if a particular act is in keeping with the NPC.
NPC Usage:- When using an NPC created by someone else, remember that the NPC was not devised by you, and try to respect the character that was created; don't just see a character that you think looks interesting and change whatever you please to make them more like how you want them to be.
- The creator of an NPC may have left out some crucial information about an NPC in order to have some sort of revelation later on. As such, if an NPC was created by another, please ask the creator if a given act is really in keeping with the character (if the action is obviously in keeping with the character, then there's probably no need to check, but if there is any doubt whatsoever, please do so.)
- If you plan to kill off or drastically alter an NPC that you did not create, please ask the creator first. If you kill off or remove an NPC that you did create, please edit their information here to note that they are deceased or otherwise indisposed.
